Rao Ramesh (born April 21, 1968) is an Indian actor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema, alongside appearances in Tamil and Kannada films. After working in theatre and television, he gained wider recognition in Telugu films with *Gamyam* (2008), *Kotha Bangaru Lokam* (2008), *Avakai Biryani* (2008), and *Magadheera* (2009). Over the following decade, he established an extensive filmography as a character actor, appearing in *Leader* (2010), *Maryada Ramanna* (2010), *Julai* (2012), *Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu* (2013), and *Attarintiki Daredi* (2013). For his performance in *Mukunda* (2014), he received a SIIMA Award nomination for Best Actor in a Negative Role – Telugu. His subsequent credits included *S/O Satyamurthy* (2015), *A Aa* (2016)—earning a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu—*Duvvada Jagannadham* (2017), *Rangasthalam* (2018), *Bharat Ane Nenu* (2018), and *Jersey* (2019).
