Community Guidelines
NextCineHub is a place for honest film and TV conversation. These guidelines help keep it sharp, fair, and worth coming back to.
The Short Version
- Be honest. Real opinions, not rage-bait.
- Be respectful. Critique the work, not the person.
- Tag your spoilers. Use the spoiler sections in the review composer.
- Stay on topic. This is a movie/TV community.
What’s Not Allowed
Harassment & hate
- Personal attacks, slurs, or targeting based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, disability, or nationality.
- Coordinated pile-ons, dog-piling reviewers, or brigading.
- Threats of violence, doxing, or sharing private information.
Spam & manipulation
- Vote/rating manipulation (sockpuppet accounts, paid reviews, bot-driven activity).
- Self-promotion that drowns out genuine discussion.
- Affiliate links or paid product placements without disclosure.
Illegal & harmful content
- Piracy links, leaked workprints, or instructions for circumventing DRM.
- Sexual content involving minors. Reports go directly to authorities.
- Content that violates copyright (see DMCA).
Deception
- Impersonating filmmakers, critics, or other users.
- Fabricating ratings or watch history to game the leaderboard.
- Posting AI-generated reviews without disclosing them.
Spoilers
The Review Composer has dedicated spoiler sections (Act 1 / Act 2 / Full). Use them. Plot reveals in the open hot-take section get hidden or removed.
