Tabassum Fatima Hashmi (born November 4, 1971), known professionally as Tabu, is an Indian actress known for playing troubled women in both mainstream and independent films of Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Marathi, and English languages, although she primarily works in the former.
