Wright studied animation at Edge Hill University, Lancashire, England, before completing an MA in television fiction writing at Glasgow Caledonian University, Scotland. Since then, he has worked on numerous high profile productions and television series, such as Fair City, Eastenders, Hollyoaks, Doctors and River City.
