Julien Bam, born on November 23, 1988, in Aachen as Julien Zheng Zheng Kho Budorovits, is a German web video producer, singer, voice actor, filmmaker, and podcaster. He grew up partly in Aachen and partly in Singapore and graduated from Viktoriaschule in Aachen in 2008. His multicultural roots trace back to the Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, China, and Indonesia. Julien began his career in 2011 with the short film channel JuBaFilms before launching his own YouTube channel, "Julien Bam," in 2012. On this channel, he released videos featuring dance, music, comedy, and action, often incorporating special effects. With over 5.7 million subscribers, he is one of the most successful German YouTubers. Julien has received multiple awards, including the 1 Live Krone for the video "Most Epic Dance-Moves" (2015) and the "Person of the Year Male" award at the German Web Video Awards (2016). He also served as a jury member on ProSieben's show "Masters of Dance" (2018/2019) and provided voice work for characters in films such as Despicable Me 3 (2017) and Sonic the Hedgehog (2020). In addition to YouTube, Julien is active on Twitch and runs several other YouTube channels, including "Bulien Jam" and "JUcktmichnicht." His brother, Shawn Bu, is also a web video producer.
